Le Centre franco-égyptien d’étude des temples de Karnak vous présente ses meilleurs vœux pour l’année 2019 !

Cette nouvelle année est marquée par la prise de fonction de Luc Gabolde en tant que nouveau directeur du CFEETK (USR 3172 du CNRS). Il succède ainsi à Christophe Thiers qui occupa cette fonction entre 2008 et 2018.

Pendant ces années, une partie des travaux du CFEETK s’est notamment concentrée autour du temple de Ptah, permettant une meilleure connaissance de cette zone de l’enceinte des temples de Karnak, depuis la fin de la XVIIe dynastie jusqu’à la période romano-byzantine. Sous l’impulsion de Luc Gabolde, l’unité va poursuivre ses travaux tout en initiant de nouveaux projets.

Best Wishes for 2019 on behalf of the French-Egyptian Centre for the Study of the Temples of Karnak.

At the beginning of this new year, Luc Gabolde has become the new director of the CFEETK (CNRS, USR 3172). He succeeds Christophe Thiers who was director between 2008 and 2018.
During these years, a part of the works of the CFEETK has been especially focused around the temple of Ptah, allowing a better knowledge of the northern area of Karnak precinct, from the end of the XVIIth dynasty until the 4th-early 5th century AD. Under the leadership of Luc Gabolde, the team will carry on its works while initiating new projects.
