Discovery of Gold Jewellery at Karnak by the CFEETK — Press release

The CFEETK is proud to announce the discovery of a set of jewellery, including many gold artefacts, at Karnak during excavations to the east of the Open Air Museum (FEF Project, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and of the French Embassy in Egypt).
This discovery was first announced by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on 28th of February. Please find below the CFEETK press release for more details on the excavation and the objects discovered:
Le CFEETK (MoTA / CNRS) est heureux d’annoncer la découverte d’un magnifique ensemble de bijoux, dont de nombreux objets en or, à Karnak lors des fouilles à l’est du Musée en plein air (Projet FEF Karnak, avec le soutien du Ministère égyptien du Tourisme et des Antiquités et de l’Ambassade de France en Égypte). Cette trouvaille a tout d’abord été annoncée par le ministère du Tourisme et des Antiquités le 28 février dernier.
