Dans son état actuel, le temple de Ptah couvre une période chronologique s’étendant du règne de Thoutmosis III (c. 1479-1425 av. n.è.) jusqu’à celui de Tibère (14-37), entre lesquels sont attestés (phases de construction et/ou de restauration) : Aÿ/Horemheb, Ramsès III, Takélot II (XXIIe dynastie), Chabaka (XXVe dynastie), Ptolémée III Évergète Ier, Ptolémée IV Philopator, Ptolémée VI Philométor, Ptolémée X Alexandre Ier, Ptolémée XII Néos Dionysos.
Started in 2016, the online edition of the scenes and inscriptions of the temple of Ptah at Karnak recently published in the Travaux du Centre Franco-Égyptien d’Étude des Temples de Karnak is now complete. All the hieroglyphic inscriptions, transliteration and bibliographical references, old photographic documentation and a new complete high resolution photographic survey of this monument are available in the Karnak project.
The Temple of Ptah was built by Thutmosis III (c. 1479-1425 BC) and was in use till the time of Tiberius (14-37 AD). Constructions and/or restoration works of Aye/Horemhab, Ramses III, Takelot II (22th Dynasty), Shabako (25th Dynasty), Ptolemy III, Ptolemy IV Philopator, Ptolemy VI Philometor, Ptolemy X Alexander, Ptolemy XII Neos Dionysos are also attested on this monument.
