Documentary at the French-Egyptian Center — Assistant to the Library Manager — Assistant to the Administrative Manager of the CFEETK

About Magdi Louiz
He started working at the SCA in 1990 and began his work at the CFEETK in 1995 where he carried out many tasks: including:
- Documenting several works, such as: the Legrain work, as well as the Sheikh Labib store, etc.;
- Scanning of the documentation of Karnak magazines;
- Starting a project of converting the books of the French-Egyptian Center library into a digital library between 1998 and 2007;
- Spending a month in the library of the French Institute in Cairo (IFAO) to copy some books for the library of the CFEETK in 1999;
- In charge of the scientific department of the CFEETK after the leave of its director, Alan Arnaudiès, in 2006;
- He assisted in researching the center’s scientific archive;
- He supervised the residency procedures for the members of the center.
He also documented the artifacts of Karnak Temple and Rams Road for the Egyptian Scientific Archives between 2008 and 2019.
Finally, since 2019, he also takes responsibility for the secretariat of the CFEETK, in particular for the administrative tasks related to the life of the centre.
بدء بالعمل عام 1990 بالمجلس الاعلى للاثار
ثم قام بالعمل في المركز منذ عام 1995 و قام بعدة اعمال منها
توثيق عدة اعمال مثل : اعمال لوجران و أيضا مخزن الشيخ لبيب و غيرها
قام بعمل scan لجميع أجزاء مجلة الكرنك
بدء مشروع تحويل كتب مكتبة المركز المصرى الفرنسي الى مكتبه رقميه عام 1998 و تم الانتهاء بالفعل من بعضها قبل التوقف عام 2007
امضى فترة شهر في مكتبة المعهد الفرنسي بالقاهرة IFAO لنسخ بعض الكتب لمكتبه المركز المصرى الفرنسي بالاقصر عام 1999
اصبح مسئولا عن الأرشيف العلمى بعد رحيل مديره الان ارناديس عام 2006
ساعد في البحث في الأرشيف العلمى للمركز ( التاتباز) و الذى تضمن الدراسات القائمة بمعبد الكرنك
تولى الاشراف على إجراءات الإقامة لاعضاء المركز
منذ عام 2008 تولى توثيق القطع الاثرية الخاصة بمعبد الكرنك و طريق الكباش للارشيف العلمى المصرى حتى 2019
منذ عام 2019 : تولى سكرتارية المركز وبعض الشئون الإدارية
