The French-Egyptian Centre for the Study of the Temples of Karnak (CFEETK- MoTA/CNRS) is pleased to announce a new symposium to be held in Luxor on the 7th and 8th of February 2025: the Preservation and Transmission of Archeological Heritage symposium (PTAH). The conference will take place at the Mummification Museum in Luxor.
A Call for Communications is now open to all Egyptian and international conservators working in the Theban valley (and other professionals whose work is related to conservation).
To submit your communications, please send us by e-mail a title, an abstract of 300 words maximum and the chosen theme (see the call for communications pdf for further informations) by the 14th of August 2024 at ptah.symposium@gmail.com.
Communications will be held in English and is limited to 20 minutes ; proposals for posters are also welcomed (guidelines to be provided).
