The exhibition “Karnak Golden Jewellery” was inaugurated on the evening of the 17th of May, with the exceptional presence of Dr. Mohamed Ismael Khaled, Secretary General of the SCA (MoTA), Dr. Antoine Petit, CEO of the CNRS, Dr. Hesham Abouzeid, Deputy Governor of Luxor, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Badia, Head of the Pharaonic Antiquities Sector at the SCA, Mr David Sadoulet, Cultural Affairs Advisor at the French Embassy, and many other Egyptian and French personalities.
The exhibition, running from the 18th of May to the 18th of June 2025, celebrates the discovery of the golden treasure uncovered by the CFEETK (MoTA / CNRS) in February 2025. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about this discovery and the ongoing project at the Karnak Open-Air Museum.

En collaboration avec le Musée de Louqsor, le CFEETK a le plaisir d’organiser une exposition temporaire au Musée de Louqsor : “Karnak Golden Jewellery”.
Elle a été inaugurée le 17 mai au soir, en la présence exceptionnelle du Dr. Mohamed Ismael Khaled, secrétaire général du SCA, de Dr. Antoine Petit, PDG du CNRS, du Dr. Hesham Abouzeid, Deputy Governor of Luxor, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Badia, chef du secteur des antiquités pharaoniques du SCA, de M. David Sadoulet, conseiller d’action culturelle de l’ambassade de France, et de nombreuses autres personnalités égyptiennes et françaises.
Cette exposition qui se tient entre les 18 mai et 18 juin 2025 présente le trésor et ses bijoux découverts par le CFEETK en février 2025. Les visiteurs pourront aussi avoir plus d’information sur cette découverte et le projet FEF en cours dans le Musée de plein-air de Karnak.
