Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Centre franco-égyptien d’étude des temples de Karnak (CFEETK).

This site is intended to spread more widely the various activities of the Center (MSA / CNRS USR 3172), presenting work in progress and future programs. The pages will gradually be offered and updated with three interfaces in French, English and Arabic.
The activity and the numerous interventions of the Center and the associated missions will be available directly from the pages of the different programs in addition to the annual report available from the News menu.

In order to promote access to scientific literature, articles and monographs relating to the temples of Karnak will be regularly  available on our site. We thank the Ministry of State for Antiquities for permission to reproduce articles of ASAE and Éditions Recherche sur les Civilisations (Adpf/MAEE) and the Institut français d'archéologie orientale for the Cahiers de Karnak 5 to 9 which are offered on this site. Old photographs of the temples of Karnak will be also displayed on the site.
Among the developments of the Center, the management of its archives will allow to consult them via Internet. The website will then become a privileged gateway to reach this invaluable documentation.
